Over 200 farmers and producers of food products sell at Argus.  Opened in August 2014,  we continue to grow the local food economy!  Argus operates on a consignment relationship with our producer, which means the farms who sell here OWN their products and SET their prices. So you, the consumer, are buying directly from the farms. We represent them carefully.

Argus has paid out over $15 million to local farms .  All income is directed to our mission of growing the local food economy.

Here we are in Michigan, and our farms now have an outlet to sell all winter - so they are growing all winter.  The interface that we provide between the customer and the farmer also maintains farm identity with the customer.

Argus Farm Stop is always looking for local producers to help increase our offerings to customers.  If you have products that are grown, raised, or produced in Michigan, we encourage you to apply.

How to apply to sell your products at Argus:

We welcome your application! All producer applications can now be submitted online directly through this page. Simply fill out the form below, and your application will be in our system for our monthly review (conducted during the first week of the month). If applicable, be sure to have an image of any pertinent licenses for your business to upload.

At this point in Argus’ growth, we do not have a great need for additional producers in a wide variety of categories. If you are a good fit for us but we are already amply supplied with the same types of items, we may add you to our wait list; there may be opportunities for produce farmers to get involved in certain parts of our operation, like the Weekly Produce Box, even if we don’t have space to add you for retail sales. We are actively seeking additional producers of the following items: Yogurt and Quince

Note: Due to space constraints, we are not currently accepting new artisan crafts if they are not closely related to local food, farming, or cooking. If you would like to sell at our next Artisan Market, you can get on our list here, and we will reach out when we are planning the next market.
